June 17th, 2009Syahir and Azmi won gold medal for their respective school in this year’s Inter-Varsity tournament that was held at NTU on two weekends of June 2009.
Syahir played a rather cautious game and we hope that he would have gained more confidence the next time he competes at the finals. This is because Syahir always fight very confidently in earlier rounds but never have enough believe that he can win gold at the finals. We hope that this will change his perception of the finals and start believing in himself more.
On the other hand, Azmi fought with greater flair and confidence which made him having more composure executing the techniques especially the well timed sweep. He also managed to put in some effective kicks in the process.

The friendly sparring session with Cekak…
May 21st, 2009The friendly sparring session with Cekak and NTU is confirmed but some of you will not get the chance because Cekak has scheduled the matches… If you are not selected than I am very sorry. I will set up another friendly soon after all major tournaments are over.
